They haven't shut my email off yet...
Let me warn everyone in this building. Do not EVER go to HR if you have a problem.
I quit because I complained about someone who has been a complete and total disruption to the "team" and who has on several occasions acted inappropriate in public... and since nothing she did was technically "illegal" they berated me and treated me like an idiot.
I quit because HR in Tampa and then Corporate HR bullied me and told me that my emotions got the best of me... they told me to go about my business and act like an adult, etc.
HR is a CROCK. They are here to make sure nobody does anything illegal and the company can't be sued. If you raise an issue they don't "retaliate" directly by firing you - they just put the fear of God in you, treat you like a liability, and then sit back and wait for you to crack under the pressure and quit.
Just take it from me - sitting here out of a job that I love - don't ever go to HR.
