Seems as though an all Christmas format is inevitable every year around the holidays.
So how early is too early for you? Does it make you feel festive and bright?

I don't mind maybe 1 station doing it.. like an easy listening, just due to the fact that I'm only wanting to listen when I'm "feeling festive."
Makes me glad I have XM... They have 4 different formats of christmas music and they were added to the playlist not ran over top a normal format's broadcast

Interesting point, when you're "feeling festive." meaning you have the right to choose. It also seems as though satellite would have done this anyway so they keep the subscribers happy and make them feel like it's a holiday gift. Or is that channel extra $$? oh no the five extra channels are, like you put it, "a gift" completely free and on their own "set" of numbers.. IE 20-29 are the "top 20 countdown" specific to the format you are interested it 30-39 are mainly country etc etc
