A recent news story reported that Danny Lasoski, driver of the #20 Home Depot/Bass Pro Shops/JD Byrider Tony Stewart Motor Sports Sprint Car, announced that he has signed Bubba the Love Sponge to a one-year racing contract for his 360 owned sprint car team.

His first race is slated for the Chili Bowl (midget sprint car race) in Tulsa January 5-8, 2005.

Although Bubba would probably rather stay with radio, he's now doing something else he likes and it is probably due to one of his connections from working in radio.

This just goes to show that the broadcast industry can lead you down many different paths. Work hard keep your options open and you can do what you want given the opportunity.
